The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies conducted the farewell gathering for its Governing Council on Friday.
The Chairman of the Council is Senator Ahmad Lawan, the President of the Senate, while the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, serves as the Alternate Chairman.
During the session, members expressed their well wishes and praised the Director-General of NILDS, Prof. Abubakar O Sulaiman, for his visionary leadership and notable achievements over the past four years.
As part of the event, all members received certificates of accomplishments and plaques of appreciation.
